Shadow Play

A long-awaited ease washes over us this time each year, marked by slow mornings, a refreshed reading list, or the evergreen promise of a blossoming garden.

As we look to spend more time out-of-office, grounding materials of the natural world—raffia, weathered wood, and clay—lend a quiet elegance as solace is sought in the comforts of home. The seasonal shift to a slower pace, marked by a breeze that rustles the verdant leaves of a tree in bloom inspire thoughtful additions, while the dappled light of longer days gives us ample time to bask in their glory.

This summer brings a collection of multimedia works by New Orleans-based artist Ansley Givhan playing the perfect partner to whimsical lighting by Honoré Deco.

Little Luxuries

Few things delight like a long shower after a day spent lying lazily by the pool or diving off a dock. For the perfect end to a day in the sun, wrap up in a plush Turkish cotton towel or keep it light with a waffle weave spun from European flax and available in an array of dreamy colors.

Wiggle Room

Say hello to the newest (and cutest) addition from the inimitable Honoré. With its wavy iron base and playful shade, this lamp makes a home wherever it goes! Paired with kitchen favorites like the ripe garden scents of Flamingo Estate, don’t be surprised if you find yourself transported —even if only for the day.
